Talla Mboup, Researcher

Talla Mboup holds his Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University. He specialized in Economic and Political Development with a focus on African Development. In addition, Talla earned an Advanced Certificate in African Studies from the Institute of African Studies (IAS) with a focus in gender equality and conflict resolutions. At the IAS, he learned a multidisciplinary approach to research, and attended many seminars, workshops, and conferences related to African issues such as poverty, education, health, and hunger. Talla worked alongside six colleagues on the Earth Institute Millennium Cities Initiative (MCI) project in Senegal, identifying an urban development strategy through research and policy analysis. He has his BA in psychology, and is fluent in French, English, and his native Wolof.
