Anne Gifford, Communications Intern

Although born and raised in Massachusetts, Anne Gifford currently attends a boarding school in Connecticut (The Hotchkiss School.) Fueled by linguistic and sociological interests, Anne traveled to another corner of the Earth (France) to spend her junior year of high school in 2010-2011. This time abroad has connected Anne to another culture, language, and history—a comprehension and compassion she hopes to furnish by visiting other countries in the future.

Anne began interning with GP in the summer of 2010 and has helped write articles and funding proposals. She looks forward to working more closely with GP in the years to come, as she’s particularly enthused over the prospect of GP France. Anne aspires to one day join the Peace Corps or to pursue other diplomatic work, but for the time being, she is focused on advocating for global awareness and appreciation (especially in conjunction with GP’s work) to her surrounding community.
