Sarah Lamm, Junior Youth Facilitator & Organizer, Global Potential Boston & Summer Youth Facilitator Nicaragua, 2011

Sarah is a senior political science major at Northeastern University, focusing her studies on domestic and international poverty alleviation. Sarah is passionate about closing the gap in health and economic disparities through creating measurable change. Her experience studying social issues in Southern India was transformational and hopes to bring international travel opportunities to all students.

Originally from Washington DC, she has experience as a community organizer and working in various capacities within a non-profit setting. She also has experience in the political realm, working at the Massachusetts State House and the Commission on the Status of Women. She enjoys working with youth and has experience as a camp counselor and after school volunteer. In her free time, Sarah loves to explore the outdoors and enjoys festivals and concerts. Sarah is very excited to be joining the GP team in Nicaragua and Boston.
