Lauren Bilich, Dominican Republic Community Facilitator, Summer 2011

Lauren Bilich received her Masters degree in Social Work from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. Her concentration is in Client-Centered Management with a specialization in Social Work and the Law. She received her Bachelor degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America’s National Catholic School of Social Service. Her previous social work experience included working with children and teen mothers in the foster care system living in a congregate care facility and working with survivors of domestic violence involved in family court cases. After recently visiting the batey communities with Fordham University, Lauren became involved with GP and is extremely excited to be going to the Dominican Republic this summer as a community facilitator. She can probably be found typing feverishly, singing, asking questions or applying sunscreen every ten minutes.
