Foundations

Brooklyn Community Foundation aims to improve the lives of people in Brooklyn by strengthening communities through local giving, grantmaking and community service. They serve as a community catalyst that uses their endowment to raise awareness of local nonprofits, build lasting partnerships with local nonprofits and effectively address Brooklyn’s issues.

JUMP Foundation

JUMP Foundation is an experiential education provider that was established to respond to the need in youth education for programs that address issues of leadership and global citizenship. In 2009 JUMP provided the funding for the Open Space Youth Conference that we held in the Dominican Republic.

Turn 2 Foundation, founded by Yankees captain Derek Jeter, awards grants to create and support programs and activities that motivate young people to turn away from drugs and alcohol and “Turn 2” healthy lifestyles. The Turn 2 Foundation has helped Global Potential with donations of auction items for our fundraising events, and providing educational supplies, hats, sunscreen, and bags for our students as they head to the villages.
