Marianny, GP Boston, HcA, 16 years old, originally from the Dominican Republic

Marianny is a 16 year old sophomore at the Edward M. Kennedy Academy for Health Careers. She is originally from the Dominican Republic. She is a Spanish interpreter at the Boston Health Education Center, a Secretary at her high school, and loves to work with children. Marianny is interested in helping to solve the issue of homelessness in her neighborhood of Roxbury in Boston.
This is what Marianny has to say about herself: “I am a a real big family person. Family is my reason for progressing in life and the only thing that I would die for. I am very dedicated to my studies, friends, and family. In the future, I plan to be a pediatric nurse and hopefully have dinner with my favorite person in the whole world: Anthony “Romeo” Santos. If I ever had the luck of having 1 million dollars, I would buy my mom a dream house, secure my college career and donate to the needy.”
