Brianna, 16 years old, John D. O'Bryant School, Boston, Originally from Boston

Brianna, who has a twin sister and is half-Haitian, is a nice and understanding young 15-year old from the John D. O’Bryant School in Boston. Her birthday is June 19. She has 200 hours of community service from City Year’s Young Heros program. She is passionate about working with kids when she gets older and plans to go to College. She hopes to do more community service work after she graduates from GP. For Brianna, global means “every place on earth and every person” and potential means “someone has almost succeeded.” Her career interests include building a military-based school for inner city kids or becoming a chef or owning a restaurant. Her other interests are in education and creation of a small business. Her wishes with GP: expand knowledge on how others live and to help people. She would like to travel to other countries later on in life.
