Elsy, 16, Edward M Kennedy School, Boston, Originally from Cuba

Elsy is a 16-year old junior in high school. Along with her family she migrated from Cuba and arrived to the United States when she was ten years old. One of her aspirations is to become a successful Geriatric Physical Therapist and spread peace around the world. She loves children and their innocent laughter. Elsy also enjoys having conversations about politics and is inspired by communist ideals. She does not wish to take sides in any specific political affiliation at the moment, rather her interests are in knowing and exploring different schools of political thinking. Helping those in need and giving advice is one of her favorite things. She also hopes to travel all around the world and learn about worldwide cultures and their people.
