Naeyjalite, 16, Edward M. Kennedy School, Boston

Naeyjalite is a 16 year old junior from Edward M. Kennedy Academy for Health Careers in Boston. She is very interested in justice therefore she is part of an organization called Boston-Area Youth Organizing Project (BYOP). With this organization she fights for youth justice in the areas of education, health, violence and transportation. She knows that with her drive, love and dedication she will succeed in life and one day and open up her own youth justice organization. She also dreams of becoming a writer and writing her life experiences to share them with the rest of the world through poetry. She wishes to touch teenager’s hearts by sharing experiences of her life as well as helping them understand the meaning of having a voice in society.

Naeyjalite is an open-minded, smart young lady who enjoys helping people. She is also never afraid to state her opinion, when needed. With that said, Naeyjalite thought Global Potential would be a great opportunity for her. She believes that Global Potential is an experience for her to expand her leadership skills, learn the meaning of hard work and get a life-changing experience. She also believes that on her trip to the Dominican Republic or Nicaragua, she will share her knowledge with the people and also build great friendships.
