Sonam, 17, International High School @ Prospect Heights, New York, Originally from Tiber

My name is Sonam S. My home country is Tibet and I grew up in Mustang, Nepal. I speak four languages: English, Hindi (a little bit), Nepali, and Tibetan, which is my native language. Right now I am in 11th grade at the International High School @ Prospect Heights and I am 17 years old. The things that I love to do during my free time are cooking, cleaning rooms, reading books and writing. In addition, I also love to make friends and play sports like basketball, tennis and soccer. I joined GP because I know that this program will give me a great opportunity to learn about diverse cultures, traditions, and people, and it will also help me with my leadership skills. Furthermore, GP is an organization that helps other people like I hope to do! I expect that this organization will make changes in everyones lives including my own. :)
