Impact Report 2019-2022
Dear Global Potential Community,
We are pleased, and so proud, to share with you the 2019-2022 Impact Report!
Yes, that’s right, this report spans three years of programming. We call these our “COVID years” and although the COVID endemic continues, the past three years have been some of the most difficult - and transformative - for GP as an organization.
We have taken the best parts of our legacy 18-month-long Fellows Program and redistributed it to several new, hybrid and global mini-programs and activities. We have expanded on our flagship Youth Leadership Conference and continue to extend our reach across all our partner communities, rural and urban alike. Our Ayiti Konsey has delivered critical emergency relief envoys in the aftermath of several devastating earthquakes in Haiti. Finally, our Board of Directors has established a tight-knit Alumni Network of all GP student alumni and participants to leverage the power of peer-to-peer mentorship to further enrich their lives and support the dreams of the GP family.
Perhaps the most important accolade we’ve received in the past three years has been realizing the spectacular decade-long goal of being an organization directed and operated by the very youth we serve. GP is made up of a majority of alumni on our Board of Directors and on our Staff.
Global Potential continues to be a fully accredited charitable organization registered in the United States. We have reached the important milestone of being a Gold Star nonprofit recognized by GuideStar. 100% of your donations are tax-deductible.
