Marckenlove Gloire Gens Guerrier has been with GP since 2013. He graduated in Diplomacy and International Relations and is certified in computer science and communication. Marckenlove is originally from Wanamet and he lives in Port-au-Prince. He his favorite hobby is chatting with young people.

Sara has been active in social work and community development since she was 15 years old. She is a graduate of multimedia technology and is a medical student. She has worked with Global Potential as a student and collaborator since GP arrived in the Dominican Republic in 2009. In the summer of 2010, she started as a junior staff member. In 2011, she was a staff member in Haiti. In 2012, she started working as part of the council of the Dominican Republic. Now she works as a country coordinator in the Dominican Republic.

Katia has a bachelors in Psychology and Gender Women Studies. She first became proactive in community work in high school, working with various immigrant groups , students with disabilities and so on in creative art workshops. During university Katia met GP founder and staff Frank Cohen on a hike upstate NY. Being Haitian American and hearing about GP’s work in Haiti, Katia jumped at the opportunity. With GP she became heavily involved in youth engagement, self sustainability and community development. After 3 years of volunteering with GP, she graduated from university and was able to get secure a position with a different non profit to work full time in Haiti. She spent close to 3 years based in the city of Les Cayes, Haiti working in donor engagement for school construction with non profit buildOn. She has since then moved back to NYC where she is working in public housing.
After the earthquake in Les Cayes Katia jumped into action, mobilizing her own friends, family and colleagues too fundraise. She personally organized pre existing teams of local groups who then coordinated aide. Seeing the impact of the work and her desire to stay involved, she reached out to GP who was happy to make room for her. She is now GP’s Haiti Relief Coordinator! As the Haiti Relief Coordinator she will make sure that they can continue to organize youths in Haiti to provide care and help to earthquake victims.

Bijay has been involved with Global Potential since 2012 as volunteer staff. During his time at G.P. he has worked with students from different backgrounds by helping them with various projects. His involvement grew in 2019 as an administrator to help and support the organization run smoothly.
He was born in Nepal but resides in NYC. He is currently a nursing student at Kingsborough Community College. He loves to travel, play soccer and listen to different kinds of music.
As a Haitian-American Global Potential alumnus, it is my duty to transcend the rigid line that exists within our societies. I have worked with Global Potential for 8+ years facilitating social impact based programs, and workshops in over 20 communities throughout the world.
